Maricera Tile – Damage & Return Policy
At Maricera Tile, we take great care in packaging your order to ensure it arrives safely. However, occasional damages during transit may occur. To assist you promptly, please inspect your tiles upon delivery and follow the steps below to file a damage claim.
Reporting Damages
- Inspect Upon Delivery – If your pallet or boxes show visible damage, make a note on the Bill of Lading (BOL)when receiving the shipment.
- Take Clear Photos – Capture images of each damaged tile, the outer packaging, and any other noticeable damage (e.g., unwrapped pallets, torn boxes).
- File a Damage Claim – Submit your claim within 72 hours of delivery with your order number, the number of damaged pieces, and supporting photos.
📌 Important: If your order is shipped to a job site, ensure it is inspected within this timeframe. Claims submitted after 72 hours cannot be accepted.
Please retain the damaged materials until the claims process is completed, as shipping providers may require an audit.
Processing Replacement Tiles
- Once we receive your damage claim, please allow 24 hours for processing and shipment of replacement tiles.
- Claims submitted after 6 PM PST on Fridays will be addressed the following Monday.
🚨 Refusing a Shipment: Refusing delivery will result in return shipping costs and a 15%–25% restocking fee, depending on the product type.
Damages During Installation
- Maricera Tile is not responsible for damage caused during installation. If a tile is damaged or installed incorrectly, we cannot offer returns, exchanges, or refunds.
- If your tile arrived damaged during shipping, do not install it. Instead, file a claim before installation. Using damaged tiles will void any replacement eligibility.
- Installation of material constitutes acceptance.
